Seriously??! A painting of my picture!

After yesterdays great exhibition, I had a beautiful e-mail this morning from amazing artist Emily Garces saying that she had just finished the painting inspired of my "Seriously?" picture.  I was blown away when I saw it! so beautiful!! 

Tras la inauguración de mi exposición de ayer, esta mañana he recibido un mail de la fantástica artista Emily Garces diciendo que acababa de terminar un cuadro inspirado en mi foto "Seriously?" Me he quedado boquiabierta cuando lo he visto!! Precioso!

I love spring, not only the weather is beautiful and unpredictable, but my vegetable garden is blooming so fast!! we have our first tomatoes which we'll be able to eat in a few weeks, our lettuces are huge and my zucchini's, water melons, peppers, etc are looking gorgeous! 

Me encanta la primavera; no sólo porque el tiempo es precioso e impredecible sino porque mi huerto ya está empezando a dar sus frutos! Los tomates ya están saliendo y en un par de semanas los estaremos disfrutando, mi calabacines están el flor, las lechugas enormes y general mis pimientos, pepinos, sandías, etc están preciosos!! :)

Ayer tuve un ataque de hipo impresionante y la única forma de que se me fuera era durmiendo.. je,je así que no edité mi foto y hoy he estado todo el día con clientes. :) Así que aquí está, la foto de ayer!

A side effect of warmer days is that mosquitos are everywhere.  Last night I couldn't sleep more than 1 whole hour before I had to wake up and try to kill one of those mosquitos... Of course, I din't let hubby sleep that much either.. so today we've decided to have dinner in bed, watch a movie (guys film, the mechanic, blahblah) and go to bed early.  I plan to have a long night sleep today!!

Un efecto secundario de la llegada del calor es la llegada de los mosquitos.  Están por todo! anoche no pude dormir más de una hora seguida antes de tener que levantarme para cargarme a alguno de estos malditos que me han picado por todo! Por supuesto, mi andreas tampoco pudo dormir.. así que hoy hemos decidido cenar en cama, ver una peli (peli de tíos - El mecánico) e ir a dormir pronto.  Pienso tener una noche de laaaaargo sueño!! :)

I read a few days ago, that since the flood in Pakistan in 2010, due to a lot of areas were been flooded for a looong time, spiders have gotten used to building their spiderwebs on trees.  So is so, that trees end up looking like cocoons! I will try to find a picture of it, beacause it is absolutely amazing to see the trees covered by a thick layer of spiderweb.  However, the most shocking, exciting new of all is that because of this, spiders manage to catch a bunch more of mosquitos than they used to.. and here's the big news, spiders are catching many more malaria mosquitos and therefore it is being a progress for people living in the area! You might already know about this, but I was just soo amazed. 

Hace un par de días leí, que desde las inundaciones de 2010 en Pakistan, y debido a que muchas de las zonas han estado inhundadas durante bastante tiempo, las arañas han decidido hacer sus redes en los árboles.  Tanto es así, que los árboles parecen nidos de arañas, completamente cubiertos por sus redes.  Lo más fascinante y emocionante, es que debido a esto, las arañas estan consiguiendo atrapar a muchos más mosquitos de los que solían, y la buena noticia es que están capturando muchísimos más mosquitos portadores de la malaria, y esto está dando un respiro a las poblaciones cercanas... esto me hace pensar en el dicho de que "no hay mal que por bien no venga". viva la naturaleza!!

aaaaargh!! I have spent all my day editing work pictures and I just realized i hadn't done my 365 picture! It is a little different of what I usually do, but hey, it is 11.45pm!! good night!

 Gitana is the name of one of my cats.  I rescued her from a shelter when she was just a little baby, we are inseparable and I love her to bits, so much that some times I forget she has long and sharp nails.  She was comfortably sleeping today when I was getting ready to go to a party, I had the brilliant (not) idea of getting close to her quietly to try to scare her... let me tell you, that was a baaaaaad idea.  When I was just a few inches from her, I put my face close to her body and blew air on her.  My goal was acomplished, she got SO scared that she jumped on my face and basically turned it upside down.  Everything happened so fast I nearly couldn't feel the pain, or the blood runing down my face.  Now, the remains of my brilliant idea is a potato nose and a scratched face!! ha,ha,ha It was well deserved! I'll show you some pics tomorrow!!

 It has been an exciting week both for me and hubby.  My yoga photo session went great, we had such a great time!! We even had a beautiful dog in the studio to be photographed!! :D Hubby invited me out for dinner last night to sort of celebrate good things that are happening in our lives, so I took the quickest, most uncreative picture ever!! ha,ha still thinking if I even want to post it.
 
 so what are you doing this weekend?? I plan to answer a all of my unanswered e-mails, take pictures, going to a cool party tomorrow night, and maybe if there's time we'll go play golf again! ;)

btw, this picture was inspired by a picture I saw a long time ago and haven't been able to find again. :(

Ha sido una semana interesante para mi andreas y para mí.  Mi sesión de fotos de yoga fue genial y nos divertimos muchísimo!! Incluso teníamos a un perro precioso en el estudio para ser fotografiado!! :D  Ayer mi andreas me invitó a cenar para celebrar algunas cosas buenas que nos están pasando, así que hice el autorretrato más rápido y poco creativo de mi vida! ja,ja,ja aún estoy pensando si ponerla en internet o no... 


y qué planes tenéis para vuestro finde?? Mi plan es contestar al montón de e-mails que tengo atrasados, sacar fotos, mañana voy a una fiesta que tiene muy buena pinta e igual si hay tiempo iremos a jugar a golf. ;)

Hey! how are you? come in! it's springtime!! :D I'm soooo happy that it's spring already, it's without a doubt my favourite season of the year!  It is beautiful, unpredictable, smells nice and usually brightens up my days! what else can you ask!!

I'm off to my very first indian cooking class in one hour! and still have to get ready! heeelp! ;) I'll tell you all about it.. but sounds promising!

Ey! qué tal! pasa, es primavera!!! :D Estoy tan contenta de que por fin ha llegado la primavera, es de mucho mi estación favorita de todo el año! Es preciosa, impredecible, huele bien y normalmente ilumina mis días!! Qué más se puede pedir!?

En una hora tengo mi primera clase de comida hindú y aún tengo que prepararme! uuuuups! ya os contaré que tal ha sido, pero suena prometedor!
